Joint Thunder 2025 is an asymmetric PvP campaign organized by AMVI – Aeronautica Militare Virtuale Italiana – set in the Sinai theater. The goal is to offer a high-intensity cooperative and strategic experience, where two coalitions, Blue and Red, challenge each other for territorial control through coordinated air and ground operations.
The campaign is not a historical reconstruction or a competition, but focuses on collaboration and operational realism. The Blue forces have air superiority (4:1), while the Reds dominate on the ground plane (4:1), thanks to a wider network of defenses and production capabilities.
Both coalitions must advance and conquer the Command Centers (ACC) through ground operations and protect their strategic infrastructures (such as radars, warehouses, fuel depots). Each mission will affect supplies and deployment capacity for the next one, making logistics and planning essential for success.
All of this takes place in a dynamic context, with weekly resupply, manual management of air defenses, intelligence missions, CSAR, naval operations and differentiated strategic objectives.
