The airbase on Kish Island has been destroyed, after both the SA2 and the SA6 site were taken out, early in the day. This leaves the IRIAF with no MiG21s left to fight the coalition. The coalition CAP flights are also diminishing the IRIAF’s capability in the air, by destroying multiple F4 and F5 flights.
The intent of the JFACC is still to degrade the Iranian IADS, to create freedom of movement for future operations. This is done by neutralising EWRs, SAM sites and airfields.
The JFMCC’s intent is to lift the Iranian blockade in the strait of Hormuz and ensure the sea line of communication through the strait of Hormuz remains open and limit the Iranian Navy’s offensive and defensive capabilities.
The EWR positioned on Qeshm Island will be destroyed as the radar is providing early warning for any strike on the Iranian mainland. The strike will be performed by Package UNIFORM, consisting of 313SQN and TLwG66. TLwG66 (client) will strike the EWR site, whilst 313SQN (client) will perform SEAD for the destruction of the EWR site. The site is protected by three SAM systems, consisting of an SA2, SA15 and SA9 as well as multiple AAA units.
The airfield on the island of Abu Musa will be hit by a flight with the intent on destroying the runway. This will be performed by 321SQN (client).
Package Tango (AI) will perform a strike on the EWR near Bandar-Lengeh Airfield. This simultaneous strike will heavily damage and cripple the Iranian radar network on the western side of the Iranian mainland.
